New Pendants to Share

The above photo is a grouping of the props I often use while photographing my jewelry designs. You will note that my designs are leaning towards the vintage feel, as are the props I choose to photograph the designs on. I feel as though this is more of a representation of what I really love as a person and that vintage vibe combined with the romance of what being a woman is all about. I've added a multitude of just straight up photos without words or explanations for your viewing in this post. Please leave a comment and let me know what your preference is. Lots of photos with no words, or less photos with more explanations. Thanks for your time.

  2. Don't props make a big differance? You've done a good job of finding some that compliment and not over power your pieces!

  4. LOVE THE JEWELLRY, THE PROPS, EVERYTHING!!! Personally I like when you give a little explanation as to what the piece is created from, for example, is that a button with numbers on it in the last picture or what??

  5. Thanks for the comments everyone. Janis as to your question about the last photo, here's an explanation for you. I started with a vintage large brown button and layered on it a black watch face. The watch face had a square in it, so I accented that with a vintage new square mother of pearl and another vintage mother of pearl piece on top of that which is a button.
I will probably plan to do more of my typical posts with descriptions, but thought I'd try something new. I much prefer descriptions on the blogs I view as well.

  7. Hi Gretchen! Thanks for stopping by my blog and for the kind words. I hope you enjoyed your visit. It is nice to meet you and I hope you will come back.

I love your necklaces. The chippy piece of turquoise wood makes a great background. Now, I'm off to look around some more.

  8. What a great site and post! Thank you for the mention - I have been away from my emails and blogging for a bit - knee deep in a project that I will soon share. I LOVE your items -and your porps. Of course I love your glove form and yarn props - right up my alley. I don't often get the chance to venture out into the blog world and when I do I get frustrated at what little time I give myself to enjoy and view all that I am impressed with what I see. Thanks for sharing!

  12. I like the background on your first photo real well! Very neat! Paper goodies always attract my attention....

Also really like the blue chippy "whatever it is" behind many of the necklaces---that is the type of thing that really appeals to me.

& all your necklaces are very nice---very interesting and clean designs! I bet people get lots of compliments while wearing your jewelry!

But I love, love, love the necklace in the 2nd to the last photo! So cool!!!

    Thanks for sharing!
