Our ski-boat
Have you ever wondered or thought about what this means? To me a prime example is my husband loves to water-ski, and although it is April 9th, and only in the 60's in Minnesota today, tomorrow he will suit up in his dry suit and dip his body into the frigid waters to get his thrills. He truly lives life to the fullest, and I admire this quality in him.
Our choice of lake...
I let Jon drive the boat once in a while. lol
The dry suit he uses. Struggling to get in and out of one of these is not fun.
Jon skiing in his dry suit one year in October.
Jon skiing in the summer.
Now me, I'm a cold gal that loves the weather when the rest of the Minnesotans are melting and hating the heat. I'm just not game yet to get my muscles and joints all stiffened up in frigid waters. However, a few more weeks of sunshine and than I'll strap on the old ski and go for a spin as well.
Me skiing in my bikini. Now, that's the kind of weather I like for skiing. lol
This is a family hobby and something that our daughter, Emily has grown up having to do wether she's liked it or not. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, thus it is for this teenager as well. Hopefully, someday it will bring back fond memories for her, but Jon is a die hard water skier and we've spent a lot of time in our boats over the years.
Hanging out at the sand bar on Green Lake in Spicer, MN.
Emily likes driving the boat. She was like 13 here.
Happy Spring and boating to you all. This is what I'll be doing tomorrow... Enjoying the Minnesota sunshine on my face, and living life to the fullest. Our boat is calling... gotta go live life to the fullest. Ooops, I mean Jon just called. He's on his way from work for the week. Suppose to be packed and ready to leave when he walks in the door, and I best get moving.
Ernest would be proud of us... Would he be proud of you? What are you doing to live life, so that you can write about it????
